Ghost Story by Jim Butcher – Review

Ghost Story by Jim Butcher
5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I listened to this on audible narrated by @jamesmarstersof formerly Spike from Buffy. I’ve now listened to 13 books narrated by James Marsters and he is the epitome of Dresden.

Another great book from Jim Butcher. I don’t want to give too many spoilers on this one but we do see a more helpless Dresden out of his depth while trying to help his friends. After the decimation of the Red Court a power vacuum has been created and creatures are taking advantage. The world has been thrown into chaos and Dresden doesn’t have the power he once had. Molly also known as the Rag Lady hasn’t fully recovered after the assault on the Red Court and remains unnervingly changed. Being mentored by Dresden’s fairy godmother her enormous power is evident and makes her all the more dangerous. Trying to make up for Dresden’s absence Molly embraces a darker side and with his help try and find her way back. Not to mention Mort, we see a completely different side to the necromancer.
